Position title
Professional Coffee Drinker and Meeting Attendee
Description
Are you a cat, dog, or any other adorable creature that excels at napping, stealing snacks, and providing unsolicited emotional support? If so, we have the perfect role for you! Join our team as Chief Nap Officer (CNO) where your primary responsibilities will be to relax in the most stylish way possible and bring joy to the office with your fluffy presence. Bonus points for knowing how to beg for treats like a pro.
Responsibilities
- Nap in the most inconvenient places to test the agility of our employees.
- Act as a full-time mood booster, providing cuddles and comfort during stressful moments.
- Participate in all snack breaks—sharing is optional.
- Look cute in meetings, ensuring no one can focus on their work because you're too adorable.
- Play fetch or chase laser pointers during designated break times.
- Occasionally grace us with a display of your best tricks or impressive tail wags.
- Keep a vigilant eye on all food (especially sandwiches, they’re a favorite).
Qualifications
- Must have impeccable napping skills (ability to sleep through anything a must).
- Can sit, stay, or rollover on command—or at least look like you’re trying.
- Must be an expert in belly rub acceptance.
- Previous experience in acting cute and demanding attention is highly valued.
- A willingness to occasionally show off your best zoomies (no formal training required).
- The ability to make everyone around you smile, whether by doing absolutely nothing or doing something surprisingly impressive.
Job Benefits
- A variety of plush surfaces to nap on (couches, office chairs, and even human laps).
- Unlimited playtime, petting sessions, and gourmet treats (we’ll keep the peanut butter on hand).
- Office-wide admiration and a fan club of coworkers who’ll willingly drop everything for a cuddle.
- The opportunity to leave a lasting paw print on company culture (literally, in some places).
- A supportive environment where your “take it easy” attitude is not only welcomed but encouraged.
Contacts
Please submit your best "I'm too cute for work" photo or video (bonus points for adorable yawns) to careers@garneau.com. Don’t forget to include a short "resume" (we know, you’re busy napping). If you’re a cat, please try not to ignore us entirely.
